TEXANS FOR STATE PARKS ANNUAL CONFERENCE

The Texans for State Parks Annual Conference of the members is held each year for the transaction of the group’s business. The conference is open to all members, and non-members are also invited to attend. The annual conference provides an opportunity to help keep members and other park supporters informed about issues affecting the state park system and to have an opportunity to get involved and make a difference. It also provides an opportunity for members and interested persons to network with others working in support of the parks.

Mark your calendars now for the 2026 TfSP Annual Conference and Awards presentations!  The conference will be held March 27 and 28 at the McKinney Falls dining hall.  McKinney Falls has proven to be a ‘favorite’ for those attending and hosting the conference with its central location, facilities and support of the staff and friends group.

Registration will begin at 5 pm Friday, with a light meal at 6 pm followed by the always popular “Brag Night” when members have the opportunity to show off their work in their parks.

Saturday will begin at 8 am with early registration, welcome and breakfast.  The Saturday program will include presentations from State Park leadership and other topics of interest including  annual awards presentations. The afternoon highlight will be the presentation of awards for Outstanding Park Superintendents and staff members, volunteers and partner groups from across the state.

Conference Registration fees/meals are:  Friday only, $15, Saturday only, $30, Both days, $45.    A limited number of complimentary campsites and cabins are available for registrants. For overnight accommodations contact Linda Evans,  [email protected]  or phone  512.923.7452.

The Park Entry Fee will be waived Friday and Saturday for everyone registered for the conference. (Including family and/or guests).
